Hi & Happy New Year from Southern Cali.

Just bought a Sig 1911, after my 1940 Walther PP 7.65mm failed to load 3 times in shooting out a box of 50rds at the shooting range. The gun, a gift from my passed father-in-law has basically sat in my closet for 25 years. This Xmas one of my two sons suggested we go to a shooting range after having been recently with his friends. So, after the misfires, that was it, I got a Sig 1911. I'm really not a gun person, but I'd heard of Sig, and associated them with quality, so I went with Sig. Glad I did, I liked the 1911 so much, I have ordered a P232. It's a copy of the PP/PPK, but only better. I really like the style. I think I've caught the "gun bug". We'll see where this goes.

Welcome from NW FL. I pray for you folks on the West Coast, I lived in Huntington Beach for a while and I know your in a tough spot. Good Luck, and never let MoonBeam Brown convince you that a cork gun will work just as well (after all it's still a gun?).
