Hi guys, I don't currently own any, but I've always been interested in guns. I previously owned a P220 ST and a .40 P226. I sold them in 2009 because we needed the money, and because my wife was never really comfortable with them being in the house with small children (even though I kept them locked up). I've regretted it ever since. I've always been partial to Sigs because of their feel, quality, performance, and looks. With all the talk of bans and such, there seems to be a gun-buying craze going on right now and I recently went to a gun shop with one of my friends who wants to buy. So naturally, I now have the itch again. And I stumbled upon this forum while researching and looking at what's for sale out there. Maybe I can convince my wife now that the kids are older. Ideally I'd like to get the same two models I had before because I liked them so much...and maybe a few more. I'm intrigued by the versatility of the P250, and the P2022 is an option that's probably more in my price range right now. In the meantime, I suppose I can at least discuss them with fellow Sig enthusiasts. Last edited by Trueshot220; 01-20-2013 at 10:47 AM. |

Welcome from Cbus. I was in a similar situation with the wife worried about our young kids so I sold my 2 handguns about 8 years ago. Like you I got the itch again recently and now that the kids are in high school and college, wife was supportive of me getting another handgun. Picked up an SP2022 (9mm version) a week ago and had range time with it yesterday for the first time. Great gun.

![]() If I could only have one, it would be a P220 ST. But one's not enough for me. I can think of several hand guns I want, plus a few rifles, starting with a Sig M400. | |
