| New 2022 .40 owner from SC
Hey everyone! My name is Drew and I'm from South Carolina. Just wanted to stop in and say hello. I recently purchased a SIG 2022 .40 and I'm trying to see if anyone has any ideas on good holsters (may be purchasing a laser sight if I can find one that fits), good ideas on where to carry for concealment, and if anyone has info on a reliable pistol safe (since I have kids!). I look forward to meeting everyone soon. Thanks in advance for the information!

Hey Finsfan -- I just got a 2022 in .40 yesterday, as well. I did look into holsters; did quite a bit of research. I'm sure there are many opinions, BUT -- from my research, it seemed that there was alot of agreement that a "supertuck" holster from Crossbreed holsters is a good one for concealment of this gun. Crossbreed sells this holster custom-fit for many types of guns, and the SigPro 2022 is one of them. You might check them out; it's an inside-the-waistband holster, and from what I read, is pretty highly regarded for both concealment AND for comfort. My post here is NOT gospel, as I am as new as you are...but, this was what my own research led me to conclude. Congrats on the new gun! Steve |

Welcome to SIG Talk from California!!! I too have a SP2022 in 40. It's a great shooting pistol. If you go with a Crimson Trace laser, you won't need a special holster. I have a Blackhawk Serpa CQC for an OWB holster. For an IWB holster, I like the Milt Sparks Versa Max 2...

Quick question, the Blackhawk Serpa CQC is listed for many different models but I can't seem to find one for the 2022, anyone have this issue?
