| Purchased my first Handgun: P226
Hello all, I've always heard about this site but finally joined today after I bought a P226. Took it to the range, just only put 100 rounds through it so far. Love it and glad I choose this one. (Police Trade in) I'll post more pictures later  |

Excellent choice!! I love my P226! Almost as much as my P229, and my P239. My Dad carried one on duty with AZ DPS and got me hooked on the Sig thing. Trying to find an M11-A1 to add to my inheritance.

Hello, Afropastepanda, and welcome from Missouri to a really great forum. Good people and info here! If you are new to this handgun, self defense arena, consider taking some good self defense classes with your new 226. I also recommend you check out the many free YouTube videos made by Massad Ayoob, a world-class instructor in handgun use and self defense, who has recorded training sessions in Judicious Use of Force, Shoot to Live, Home Invasion, Preparation for Home Defense, and What to Do After a Shooting. Just Google his name and these topics and the YouTubes should show up. Very good instructional information from an expert, and free. Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone. I love it and i'm glad i went with the 226. I was originally going to get the sp2022 but went with this instead. and yes i've already begun to look at another sig already ! |

Welcome from KCMO! Congrats on the 226! Recently bought my first Sig (pistol) as well! I looked at the 226 (wanted something a little smaller) and decided to get a 229 .40 I really like the idea of police trade ins! Bought a couple police trade in Glocks. Have fun and be safe! |
