Congrats on the 938 and thanks for joining the sig madness that's so prevalent here. I hope you get to the root of the problems with your mags. Something I've not experienced with mine. Greetings from the flat lands of Kansas.

Thanks for the welcoming!

So I've been playing around with the new 938 a bit and after slapping the mags in and out of it a hundred times I don't have any issues. Seems to be working fine now. Not sure what was holding it up though...and there's no scratches on the mag from grip screws or anything else as far as I can tell.

Here's a pic of it with the stock grips and the production date is Feb 2017 so it's gotta be brand new. I can live with the grips being the color they are but they don't look anything like the photos on Sigs website haha.

I wonder why they're so much darker than on the site.

I noticed that at the gun store the other day. Either its a vendor change or production change. Mine is like on sigs site, but Ive seen a couple now that have the darker grips.

I also saw a model with the sig medallion in the grips, I'd like to order a set of those for my 938.

BTW, I would red Loctite the guide rod, its a two piece part and people have had it eject itself from the gun when shooting it. The rod just unscrews from the base. I check mine every cleaning.

Also, I would blue Loctite the grip screws. They have been known to go missing as well. Other than that, its usually a problem free gun. and shoots very well for such a tiny package. I love mine, and so do 4 of my friends. They all bought one after shooting mine.
