Purchased a P238 last week. My first Sig. Will go to the shooting range Wed. to run 100 rounds through it. Enjoyed just looking at it this weekend. Also placed an order for a P938 Extreme at the same time. I am really looking forward to receiving it. Hope the shipping date is not too far off.

I took my 238hd (avatar pic) that I purchased approx 1 month ago to the range today. Ran about 115 rounds through it, and it was extremely smooth. Recoil was far less than I expected, and the gun is amazingly accurate. I had a bodyguard prior to the 238 (sold it to get the 238) and I can definitely say I made the right choice. It's an awesome gun, and I can't wait to shoot it again.

Today was the first day at the range. I used range ammo this time. My next "good" problem is to find a comfortable IWB holster. This was the first time I have shot a Sig and 380, all my others are 9mm and I reload 9mm. I really like the P238. This may just become my favorite gun after firing it today. Had no problems with it at all.

Finding the right holster is no easy job. I have looked at so many on-line, but it is hard to tell how they will feel just looking at pictures. Can't make up my mind if I want IWB, OWB, pocket carry or what. Finding the right gun was easy, finding the right holster is not.

I've carried larger guns in a crossbreed holster comfortably...the mini-tuck holster should be easier and more comfortable to carry...I've been thinking of ordering a new one for my 229
