Finding the right gun was a breeze compared to finding the right holster for me. Any big guys out there that has a good choice for p938 holster & a gun belt.
THANKS

Belts my favorite is Bigfoot, they make the best in my opinion.
I have been using Remora's for inside waistband carry for more than ten years.
I have the clip less ones, they stay in place never had a problem in all the years of daily carry.
Wright makes the best outside waist holsters, but expensive and takes a long time to get after ordering.
The Remora's are inexpensive and fast delivery. If you live in a warm area of the country be sure to order a full sweat shield. See attached. No I don't work or have any affiliation with any of the above........

If you discard the 1911 I have to say that the P938 is about the easiest to find a holster for. Now, whether one likes the one they bought or not is another subject.

My two favorite OWBs are both Yanqui style, one by Gould and the other a Bulldog. The Gould is the more expensive of the two (both relatively inexpensive). Both are used to carry every semi automatic without rails I own...from the 1911s on down (up?) to the P938. Believe it or not, the fit/security/comfort is not compromised between the pistols. A big part of the answer is a good heavy 1 1/2" gun belt.

OK, that said I wanted to celebrate being one of those who lived to honor those who did not this Memorial Day weekend and ordered:

Desantis Mini Scabbard Holster for SIG P938 Gun, Right Hand, Tan
Sold by: Amazon.com LLC. Around $41 w/tax

Good reviews and a purty lil thang....I will try to remember to comment back on what I think after using it a week or so.

I pocket carry in an El Cheapo Uncle Mike's ....either of #2 or #3 fit fine, with the best for me #3 as it is much more reliable holster free draw in clothing I wear.

I have one of the De Santis Mini Scabbard holsters for my Kimber Micro9. I like it, I have tried it in many positions it prints with my tee shirts that are one size larger. They work good with a jacket or sport coat. Most of the holsters I have purchased for my 938 will work with my Kimber Micro9 and vice versa. Went back to the Remora's......

When my mini scabbard arrived it was no more nor no less than I expected. I wanted a very lightweight, thin, compact, and secure, holster. It is that. It is not a premium grade, nor did I pay a premium price. So far I say it in my opinion does my job and is a great value for me.

I did a quick fit, adjusted the tension screw a bit, wore it for a day. After that little breaking test to see if actually worked for my body/belt I then Took their suggestion of putting pistol in a lightweight sock and allowing it to sit overnight. Rechecked fit and it was smoother ( for lack of a better word) to draw and retention was still just fine. I made another adjustment of tension screw because the drag on draw was less now and allowed for it. After a week I will call it good and blue Locktite the screw....or throw it in the drawer.

I do not call it junk anymore than a Corvette is junk next to my Jag F Type. I am not disappointed. At this early juncture I got what I expected.

+1 Dara Holster. Large man here. I figured conceal carry would be best behind my right kidney. I ordered the holster/TLR 6 special for around $160.00 for the package... reverse cant, palm out, J-hook, IWB. It's a nice set up which doesn't gouge or pinch and allows condition 1 carry. Barely notice it's there.

I have the Desantis Nemesis and am using it for pocket carry. I haven't had it long but noticed it was going to the bottom of my pocket which required putting my hand in too far to draw. I put a cotton handkerchief folded in my pocket before inserting the nemesis with sig in place. Feels better and put the gun closer to opening of pocket. I wear jeans year round and intend to continue pocket carry. I can not tell any difference with 6 or 7 round mags. I can tell you the brg grips snag on the pockets and I have ordered some wooden grips half checkered half stippled. Hoping they work even better.

A followup to my comment #36 above concerning the mini scabbard, as promised:

Been in service pretty much continuously for about a week. I did blue locktite the retention screw after final adjustment. I think that is a good idea. Additionally, as a way to head off a potential problem with stitching under stress where bottom of belt loops join the holster, I pulled it open as far as I could and let a couple drops of Pliobond wander around the stitching. I let it dry overnight. It is not visible even from back. Would it have failed? I'll never know. The other stitching shaping the outline should be fine as it is not under stress.

It is well worth the very reasonable price to me.
