Anybody have TLR-3 on a P320 Compact

I'm looking for a light for my new 320C and the TLR-3 looks like a good choice. Anybody have any other recommendations. What has your experience been with lights on the Compact model?

I have always had compact sized pistols and always had lights on them. Sig P320C and G19. For me the best light out right now would be the Surefire XC1 and if I didn’t already own a TLR1 along with holsters to accommodate and was in the market for a pistol light, the XC1 it would be. To me the biggest issue with trying to carry concealed a double stacked pistol with a light is the girth. The length not as much. The XC1 is the best of both. Sits nearly flush to the muzzle and barely goes past the trigger guard if at all. It adds a tiny amount of girth but nowhere near a TLR1 or X300.

As for the TLR3, it adds a little more girth but not as much as the 1 and X300. It does add more than the XC1 though. It also doesn’t fit snugly against the trigger guard or muzzle. For my money, it kind of looks odd on anything other than a sub-compact model pistol. There aren’t a lot of holster makers making holsters for compact sized pistols with the TLR3 cause that combo just isn’t popular enough. You don’t get that much size savings or cost savings with the TLR3 over going with a TLR1. If you scour you can find a TLR1 or TLR1s for around $90 shipped and that is the 300 lumen variety with or without strobe. You can get the HL one with 500 lumens for about $130 shipped. Then you can get tan or FDE as well. The TLR3 comes in at 125 lumens for about $85 and the size difference isn’t that noticeable. So with all that out of the way if size was my issue, the XC1 it would be. If size wasn’t then a TLR1 it would be.

I have the TLR3 on my P320c, like it a lot far as size, fit, simplicity. Brightness and spread seem perfect indoors, lights up rooms/garage well. Going to pick up another for my other P320c.

Have a TLR3 that I use on various guns. Works well with the P320C. As stated above, fine for indoors. Not quite as easy to switch with one hand as the TLR1 for some reason, a bit more finicky.

Just ordered a TRL-3. I plan to use it for indoor defensive home protection only and will take it off when I go to the range. I do not use my P320 for Carry. I use either one or my 238's or 938's for pocket carry only. This little TRL-3 should do the trick for me.

This is what I was curious about, when I ran a Glock 22, I had to have special magazine springs because it changed the center of gravity on the weapon. Do you need anything special to run a TLR-1 on a Full sized 320?
