Stainless slide color fill

This is a discussion on Stainless slide color fill within the P250 & P320 Modular Pistols forums, part of the SIG Sauer Pistols category; Just curious, has anyone done a black color fill on their stainless p320 slide? Would like to see a picture....

Brownells carries what is called Lacquer-Stik, and have it in Black for $4.99, I haven't tried the black, but I have the white, silver and gold to highlight lettering and graduation markings on firearms for a few years. It isn't permanent, but lasts for a while, depending on solvent usage. The stock # for the Black: 517-100-004

I've dabbled a bit with filling in the engraving on firearms. Using Testor's type paint, automotive lacquer, fingernail polish and crayons, I find the crayon to be the easiest to apply. Fingernail polish seems to last the longest. Good luck!
