10 round subcompact .40 mag

This is a discussion on 10 round subcompact .40 mag within the P250 & P320 Modular Pistols forums, part of the SIG Sauer Pistols category; Im considering a p250 .40 cal subcompact conversion kit. Does anyone know if that 10th round is difficult to load?...

They can be harder to load when new but it your will Buy a uplula mag loader a for basic range reloading needs it is far easy and quicker to reload and gives you time to perfect your manual loading skills and toughen up that thumb !! HA

Leave a loaded mag to set around for a few days its not hard to load but I still use a uplula at the range . Its way faster to load a mag with one .

Personally , I'm not a fan of the short SC grip on a 40sw . Recoil increase reduces split times and accuracy to much over a 9mm . We had a p250sc in 9mm but ended up giving it to a daughter as I found the .330 shorter SC grip not any better as usefull as a concealable feature and prefer the compact grip for better control on my 40sw . Mines a p320 c 40sw . Anyhow , enjoy the p250 .

Regardless of what Sig or other Brand Mag I'm loading I always use a Maglula. I even purchased one for My AR rifles. So much easier loading and on My thumbs too.

I have a P320 subcompact which uses the same mag. When new, the 10th round is a bit snug but it loosens up with time. I also use a Maglula which makes loading a breeze.
