I gotta agree. Whether working on guns or any other project, the right tool makes ALL the difference. Yes, the MGW unit is pricey but it pays for itself after a handful of sight changes compared with gunsmith charges or the hastle of sending the gun away without use for weeks. The job of removing/installing and adjusting is so effortless and precise that it makes an amateur look like a pro. If you need to change one sight set over your lifetime, then it's not worth it. If you are going to be doing these changes for the next ten years, it makes all the sense in the world. No other design (note: the gun specific shoes to positively lock the slide into position) is better thought out. One thing I like about MGW is their dedication to excellence and providing free or economical upgrade/improvement paths to their customers in the future.

The Sight-Pro is both universal (in that it can work with just about any handgun) and specific (in that it can be custom tailored to work with each gun like it was made just for it alone) due to the exchangeable shoe system, its heft, and spot on manufacturing. Exceptional products fetch exceptional prices

Just so y'all know, I'm sickened to have to pay Sig to do the job. 2-3 week turn around. Just can't justify the expense of the MGW tool. Awaiting Sig to call so I can provide payment info and receive an RMA.

Thanks again for all the feedback and suggestions.

My Classic P Series sight pusher doesn't work on the 320, so I just tap it out with a punch, getting as close to the base of the blade as possible. Right to left, if sighting down the slide.

Well the slide is in the hands of FedEx en route Exeter, NH. So hopefully in three weeks it'll be on its way back sporting new X-Ray sights.

Again thank you all for input, advice and feedback. Photos will be posted when it gets back home.

So Sig received my slide today, count down begins.

Just as an FYI: I did a follow up email to Sig, asked if they gave a military discount. Got a reply stating only military discount is on firearms, however, they'd give me a 10% off of my service order. Thats $20 on a $199.95 order, so at least that pays for the shipping. Thought that very nice of them.
