I have 2 ProMags from my FN57. They are fun range toys at best. I got mine for super cheap so I wasn't expecting much. I didn't get that much either. They work most of the time.

They're still in business, so they must sell tons of them.

I bought a used CZ that came with one in the late '90s. When you loaded it to full capacity, it wouldn't even fit into the mag well.

Back during the Clinton AWB Promags were everywhere. 5 years into the ban you could still find them. That should say a lot about their quality.

But for every educated shooter there has to be several that are either new to the sport, or only buy what is the cheapest.

Hahaha now THAT was funny! ^^^

Over the years I've tried a few ProMag products in cases where they were the only option and I'd say half went into the oval file cabinet. The only successful ones I've found are the 20 round HK SL8 mags and the 30 and 40 round AR mags actually work good as well but that's about it.

I always hear far more bad than good about ProMag. Been tempted, but than I wake up.

Toucan, don't waste your money. Spend a little more and get something that is reliable.

I don't know who makes the P320 mags, but stick with MecGar or non-Checkmate Sig mags.

I think I'm gonna buy one for laughs. I only need the floor plate that the spring sits on so I can put it in my 12 round mag.

You hang a promag from a tree limb or put it on a fence post, then you shoot at it.

That's the only use I've ever found for one.
Great one
