If I may ask, which dealer did you order from to get the discount, I am a former Marine, and retired L/E. My local L/E dealer is a rather large dealer, and they are not able to get one at this time for L/E sales, they do have some coming, but they are for commercial sales.

Thanks for the write up, the X-5 is in consideration, I enjoy shooting my P320c with an Apex trigger. It fits and feels great, have had it since they first came out and try and shoot
at least once a week.

Thank you for the write up btw.
My full size has not been stock for a while now...so no direct comparison right now. But the X5 was very similar in pull weight and function to my P320F with the GG Pelt/Stock spring combo. And when I did that upgrade it was a huge improvement over stock so logic would say the X5 trigger is much better than a stock P320 trigger.

I saw the guide rods the other day on the GG website, do you feel they provide a noticeable upgrade?

For me yes, as I use 2 of it's benefits. The little bit of extra weight helps recoil/muzzle flip and the use of 1911 springs lets me have a few weights on hand to tune to the load I am using, further enhancing recoil/muzzle flip control.

Do you think the fat rod with the provided 15lb spring would be suitable for someone who shoots mostly all 115g fiocchi 9mm (the range makes you use house ammo)? I have a full size RX.

I'm all for reducing recoil and further tricking out my RX
