There aren't "Gen 2 FCUs" really. Generational designations refer to the specific parts that have been updated (e.g. TDL, slide catch, trigger, etc). I don't see a problem using a Gen 1 TDL with an FCU that previously used a Gen 2 TDL. However, this assumes we are talking about the same gun (i.e. P320 Gen 1 TDL and P320 Gen 2 TDL). I don't know if the P320 Gen 1 TDL will work in the P250, but I do know that the P250 Gen 1 TDL will NOT work in the P320.

Great! Thanks for the clarification

Yeah, the takedown levers should interchange.

FYI, you can use the new slide stop lever on an old style grip, but not the other way around without grinding off the ridge.

Morning kankles

I'm not sure there is such as thing as a Gen 1 take down lever.

I have 3 Sig 320's -- first one is a Gen 1 with the original raised take down lever (Sig sent me a flat TDL for that gun with a call to customer service)

Second 320 is Gen 1 that came from the factory with the flat take down lever. (so the flat take down lever did come on the Gen 1)

Third 320 is a Gen 2 that also came with the flat take down lever.

So then when you say Gen 1 and Gen 2, to what are you referring? In other words, what characteristics of the 320 are you using to determine whether its a Gen 1 vs Gen 2?

I was wondering if those of us who received the original raised take down lever would be able to switch out for the flat "Gen 2" one. My support thumb can't seem to find a home on the frame because of the raised take down lever.
