New Member, New P320

Hi - SigTalk newbie here from north GA. Happy to join the Forum, and I thank you in advance for sharing your experience and insights.

I just received my P320 C RX from local gun shop. Have not yet taken it to my Club, but it feels great in my hand and the Romeo 1 optic seems perfect. My son has the full size RX, and I enjoyed shooting that. My daily carry is a P238, and I have owned a P226. I will post my first Compact shooting experience soon.

Meanwhile, I thought you might enjoy seeing my new firearm in its new holster. This perfectly fitted Kydex glove is from Red River Tactical, and is really, really sweet. The attention to detail on this holster is like nothing I've ever seen in Kydex - the edges are perfectly smoothed and rounded, the fit is just right, the tension perfect, and the graphics, in my humble opinion, are pretty special.

Now, to see if it and its owner shoot well together...

Update: First, I somehow managed to post this on the P238 page last night, so my initial intro to this P320 group was a bust. My bad!

Second, I did take my new P320 Compact RX to the range today, and LOVED it - with one exception. It shot like a dream, but it put out the brass (Herter's Select Grade 115 gr FMJ) directly into my forehead!! Anyone have any experience with that or suggest a solution? Thanks in advance.

My 320C RX throws brass to the side. I do have a Glock 19 that sent brass back at my face, a new extractor fixed it. I'd call Sig and see what they say.

Did it throw brass at you each time? Did your son's full size do that at all?

Just trying to see if there may be an answer in how youre handling the gun, before getting Sig involved.

Congrats on the purchase

My pistol also sends brass rearward(luckily slightly right of my head)

Thanks to all for the welcomes!
Nearly every shot (100 rounds) came back at my head. I was using inexpensive ammo, and I've read that that can be the cause. It's possible that I was limp wristing the gun, and on my next outing I will concentrate on that and use a higher grade of ammo,
Thanks again for the responses. Nice to be here
