Hard to believe that SHOT 2017 is coming up and this still hasn't been released. Also, it seems that it's now called the P320 X5.

Slide Cuts? Glock tried that bad idea. IMHO get rid of slide cuts and rework slide mass vs spring weights.

Yeah, it looks like the Romeo1 should slide in there.

any chance you identified the trigger as the new GG trigger? Looks just like it as well.

I'd also be interested in the barrel / lightening cuts...My X-Five Tactical has a much thicker barrel than my Legion, and I'm thinking Sig cut the slide to deal with a thicker barrel? Also, a lighter slide would beat up a RDS a bit less correct?

Love sitting at my desk supposing things, eh?

That's not the GGI flat trigger. The profile is based on the Legion SAO triggers.
The barrel is thicker (bull barrel). I don't know if the cutouts are aesthetic in nature or were required. SIG is very good at doing internal lightening now. The slide shouldn't be significantly lighter that what's there currently, it could even be heavier depending on where other lightening cuts are. Either way it shouldn't be beating up on the Romeo1 more than normal.

Just have to say thanks for sharing that pic. It looks great to me as long as we will actually see it ship sooner rather than later. I am looking at going to a boot camp at TPC in May and would love to have this as the gun I bring for the training!

LOFL... you know they can just make more right? This isn't some museum quality heirloom super rare thing they are trying to preserve. It's a demo/dealer sample..

The 34 and 35 are some of the most popular guns in USPSA and IDPA.
