P320 new trigger part number

Hi, first post be gentle.

Im looking for the part number for the NEW factory enhanced trigger for the P320.

This is the trigger that sig is releasing with newer models. It is very slightly longer and maybe more curved to reduce pinching of your finger.

To me, its not debatable whether you "need" the enhanced trigger to stop the pinching. I get pinched, even when I try not to - after 500 rounds or so, the couple of times you do get pinched is enough for me to warrant looking to replace it.

I also do not want the Apex flat trigger, just the standard factory trigger.

Thanks

Welcome to SigTalk! It's been of great value to me, I hope it is the same for you.

The newer version P320 trigger is named the "Adverse Trigger" and it is part number 1300972-R. I am looking at the Sig Sauer parts bag for one that I ordered and that's the part number on it.

Enjoy!

Do you know when they started to include that trigger in the P320? I just picked up a new P320.

It appears that they are still shipping with mixed versions of old and new components. I saw a P320SC made at the end of May 2016 with a new style (flat) slide release lever but old style slide latch, grip module and trigger. It seems like they have not converted production over to all new style parts, unfortunately.

My P320F-9-B came with the adverse trigger. The date on the case = 2/28/16. I would assume it was manufactured somewhere near that date which means the adverse were going in around that time. Hope this helps.

Look at the end of the trigger (underside) if it's filled in toward the tip it is the ADVERSE
Also the Gen 1 trigger has a blank spot ahead of the trigger when you look how it sits in the frame. The ADVERSE trigger has a plate filling in the gap ahead of it in the frame.

Adverse Trigger, part number 1300972-R, with the "tongue" on it is on the right. Original style trigger is "plain/normal" on the left.

Dust cover?

So the trigger has a built in "dust cover" that keeps out dust in "adverse" conditions? If that's all it is I don't need it.

I need the take down lever moved to the other side. I could easily shoot left handed but a left handed holster sucks when getting in and out of a car if you're the driver. Oh well, I'll carry something else, like a Glock!
