What's up with CCR?

I sent in a p228 to CCR to get refinished back in July for their Summer sale. Still hasn't been finished. I called them a few months ago and last month, was told it would be done soon.

I don't want to be a jerk bugging them all the time, but just wondering if this is the norm. I want good work to be done, so I'm trying not to rush them.

Thoughts?

I read somewhere Mary had to get surgery or something but they should be getting back on track. I think the longest my dad waited was six months. He didn't care that it took that long. I think he waited five months for Robar on his new HK too. He's been very happy with CCR and Robar.

Okay, that's cool then. I have no doubt that it will get done, just thought it would have been a lot sooner.

Very nice. Got my two-toned, kinda beat 228 finished by Robar/NP3+. Less than 65 day turnaround- very happy. I've used CCR before also.

I don't know Mary, but hope she's doing well again. We "Needs" our Gunsmiths/artist.
