Don't be so hard on yourself. It's not that obvious that it has to be decocked first. Safe to say you won't do that again?

P226 Enhanced Elite

I have a question. I just purchased a P226 9MM Enhanced Elite with the E2 grips. I want to change the E2 and add Crimson Trace Laser Grips. Can I just change to Crimson Trace Grips, if not, what do I have to change.

Or would I be better off to add a Laser on the rail?

Thanks,

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, and fairly new to sigs, but been around firearms for a bit. I picked up a Mk25 a few months ago, and just got the E2 grip for it, got the whole kit from top gun supply. For the life of me, I can't get the right side of the grip to sit flush. I've tried all the lite tricks, and still can't get it to sit against the frame... Is there something g different about the Mk25 frame? Any little tips or advice would help. Thanks.

The first try on my MK25 I pushed the spring loose but the second try it snapped right in. Keep at it, can't say what I did but it clicked right in place.

I had the same problem when I put E2 grips on my P220 Carry Elite. Really frustrating. I think I eventually positioned the grip about 1/4 inch low and worked it up until it snapped into place. BTW, I love the grips. They made a huge difference for me.
