Sig returning to me from Custom Shop

I got in on the June discounted services offered by the Sig Custom Shop, I selected several of the services that I felt would benefit my older W German made P220 45ACP off to Sig. I shipped it off to Sig and now
after a little less then a month, it's on it's way back to me.

How many of you have used their services, what did you get done, and was the process from your point of view worth it?

P226 SS Elite, 1911 SS Match Elite, 1911 Ultra: all had the trigger enhancement and barrel crown. Excellent work on all three...no regrets at all. Didn't need to crown the barrels, but I wanted to anyway !

When you get it back some pics and report when you have the time would be great! I'm in a similar situation with an older german p226 police trade in that I'm considering sending in for the full spa treatment.

I sent my 1994 229-40 to Sig back in Feb. Had the parts kit installed, new Xray sights, cleaning, inspection and ramp polish.

Work was first class and the turn around was about two weeks. Pre-paid shipping arranged thru Sig was the best deal I could find, even though RT was $55.

I was hesitant to send it in because it's always been incredibly accurate and reliable.

I wasn't disappointed.

I should be seeing it soon, so I will get a chance to put ammo down range in the very near future. I hope that the completed work I had done provides me with a better over firearm that I can be proud to own for the rest of my days.

I have the same pistol and would like to have the same work done to it. What kind of price tag was all that?

Just under $300, including shipping.

It arrived today via FedEx, I got a bag full of old parts that I am half ready to toss out as I have no plans on ever reusing them, but I probably should hang on the them just in case.

I sent in two P228s to have the SRT (short reset) and standard trigger installed. When purchased originally they had the short reach triggers (2005 & 2013 models). I am very satisfied with the price, workmanship and turnaround time (3 weeks between shipping out and receiving back).

Jury's still out for me. I sent in my P220 in June to take advantage of the special, got the SSP with new siglites, SRT, feed ramp polish, and reblued slide. Got it back in about six weeks.
So when I got it back, the front sight was dead. I emailed and was told that I could send the slide back or they could send me a new one. I asked if they would reimburse the installation cost, and was told no, but I could get discounts on future service orders or another magazine for the pistol. I responded that I could use another mag for my 9mm P320C (have plenty for the .45). No response to that, but an email for a warranty replacement sight order showed up. Well, I got it today (it took 10 days!) and go figure, no mag enclosed.
I'm pretty disappointed in the custom shop, first because the pistol should never have been sent back with a bad sight, a QC prior to shipment would have caught it, and second, the resolution so far has been poorly executed. I hope Sig makes it right, but I don't have much confidence that they will.

UPDATE:
The magazine is back ordered and will be sent when back in stock. Wish they would have communicated that to me..
