| Who makes Sig knives ?
Sig knives look interesting...but does Sig make them or are they made by another knife company ? Anybody out there have the real scoop ? I like Benchmade, Chris Reeve and Emerson. What are your Sig knife experiences ? Andy |

I don't like folders, and I make my own fixed blades. No SIG knives for me, but they look sturdy, They have a small showcase at the academy, but I think they are overpriced. Kinda like almost any SIG product, IMO.

Sig is out of the knife business. They were made for them. They manufacturer is still in business but does not make the Sig styles. George |

Just the one that comes with the p238 (Marine Corps Edition). It's more of a collectors blade though, so I won't be using it any time soon.

I have a red Rangemaster with the serrated edge and the Pteradactyl with regular edge. I like the regular edge better, and like the pteradactyl blade better. But the Rangemaster is lighter.

Finally took photos of my SigTac Pterodactyl... a touch on the big side for me, and not my EDC, but it does come with me on special occasions. ![]() |
