Our knife section is lacking. Anyone besides me have any SIG knives? I'm a dealer so that is sort of cheating, but I figured I'd get something started here...

I'm kinda interested in the Pterodactyl since I lost my last knife. I really think S&W knives are total crap, but I had their HRT front opener and it was damn nice for $35. I cannot find any around here. I dig Benchmade stuff, I have a Mel Pardue drop point, but I like to have cheaper kick-around knives to abuse/loose with day to day use. However, money is a bit tight for me currently, so I am considering a SOG Flash2 in order to save a few bucks. I own a SOG tomahawk and it's pretty nice, I just need to wrap the handle with paracord cuz it's grip is a bit too smooth. My favorite knife happens to be a Boker, but I will never use it because it is a limited edition collector's. It is 1 of 1000 for HK's 50th anniversary. I only wish I could find the same style knife without being a showpiece. The axis lock that Benchmade uses, in my opinion, is one of the most solid designs out there. On that note, if money wasn't an issue I'd probably be ordering one of Benchmade's auto openers. But again I really dig the Pterodactyl. It looks beefy, they don't say but I am guessing it is a liner lock.

I have a green SigTac Range Master Folder. I got it to carry with me when I was a Deputy Sheriff. Great durable knife and it survived a LOT of abuse.

Hey, please lemme know when you get something going. I am quite curious about the Pterodactyl and I like to keep my money in the family, as it were. Also, I need to know if the thumb studs are screwed on or solid. |

or, as I said in earlier post, this is the cheapy that I lost and would like to have another one. http://www.knifecent...tml?s=SWOTF2TBS any other S&W I've seen has been total crap, but for the money, this one was exceptional.

I am partial to SOG Knives; I always have a " Twitch XL " clipped to my Pocket . I have also found Amazon to be a good source for knives, holsters, & accessories. Check it out: My link I do own a Sig-Tac Neck-knife and it is a very good value.

I also didn't know Sig made knifes. I haven't even seen any for sale. I haven't been looking for them either. Where can I get one? If they are anywhere as nice as the Sig firearms, they might be pretty good.

Hi! I´m a policeofficer from Sweden and I have been looking for a Sig Sauer P226 Tactical Folder with a serrated blade for years.... Anyone know where to get one? Sig Sauer is the standard sidearm of the Swedish police and I am also a weapons tech... |
