P224 vs CZ RAMI question.

Does anyone have or have experience with the Rami and the P224, care to share your thoughts? I have the P224 and a CZ P-01 which I like extremely well. I like the P224 but it is a DAK model and the P-01 is DA/SA which I prefer so have been thinking about trying to find a RAMI BD model. Thanks for any comments.

Have you considered converting your P224 to DA/SA?

Yes, I thought about it but that seems to be an expensive route and, I am not sure that I want to change the 224 from the way it is. If I was using my G23 for HD as I originally planned, I would be pleased with the DAK. However, I have decided to use the P226L for HD so would prefer having a DA/SA for cc also. For now, I am alternating between the P224 and the CZ P-01 for cc. I have been impressed with the CZ so think I would like to try the RAMI.

Certainly not one to talk another out of buying a new gun!

Not to highjack his thread but is there a list of parts needed to do this somewhere and do you have to buy all the parts from Sig.

There is a thread in the Gunsmithing sub forum with a list of the necessary parts. Even though it's for the conversion of a P226 DAK to DA/SA, the required parts are basicly the same, just for the P224. You can get the parts from SIG, Top Gun Supply, Midway or Brownells. A call to SIG CS should give you the correct part numbers if you can't find schematics that list them.
