Tough choice there. I think the Mk25 would win out with the phosphate coated internals though. Would last a bit longer under harsh conditions I would think.

I guess you could eliminate that discussion if he through in the 226 combat instead if not then I would have to agree with the MK25, 2 tough choices tho.

+1. I'd have to install an SRT, though.

Also, while many will probably disagree with me on this one, I'm not a big fan of the earth color of the Scorpion...

cosmetic differences are what you should look at.

Not on the list, but I have to cast a vote for my P226 9mm Extreme..... Short Reset, Short Reach trigger and night sights, but the best thing is the G10 grips..... Really like this pistol!

I like both. I like the looks of the Scorpion, both the color and the G10 grips on it. And the Scorpion has the SRT. I haven't been carrying it but I've seen photos where, depending on the holster, the finish of the Scorpion may not hold up as well as the Nitron and anodized finish of the MK25. I'm planning on sending my MK25 in to get retrofitted with SRT.

Neither...I'd take a Tacops or Elite model over any of those 2 choices.

If I had to choose between the two one big factor would influence my descision, I am 3.5 years away from retirement in the Navy, I would choose the Scorpion without hesitation.

Scorpion just has more things going for it. Cool looks, better grips, beaver tail, SRT, etc.
That is not to say the MK-25 is a bad pistol. It's quality. But for the same price, the Scorpion wins out IMO.

One more difference: The MK25 has the MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail that makes it easier to fit aftermarket accessories (lights/lasers) if you choose to do so. The Scorpion has Sigs proprietary curved-bottom rail that isn't quite as easy to fit accessories. But the Scorpion is really cool looking. It is the only one I've purchased based on looks alone.
By the way, the Scorpion is a bit darker in color than it looks in most photos you see on the web. The photos are generally over-exposed making it look much lighter than it actually is.

If you like the look of the cerakote (which some don't) on the Scorpion, why not get all the extras that go with it?
