Problems with Sneaky Pete Holster website

So I just received a holster for a Sig P238 Micro Compact 380. Same size as the Bodyguard and Mustang. So the holster received is not even close to the dimensions and pictures advertised. OK, these things happen, but the problem comes when I try and contact the company to get it resolved. Apparently, they do not believe in any phone contact, only e-mail, with a FAQ page offering answers to possible scenarios. Some of their wording, borderlines questioning the integrity of their customers. OK whatever, so the issue is, their link to their customer service form keeps linking back to their FAQ page. So there is no way to make any contact with them other than postal mail, which means one is assuming a person will open it and read it So does anyone actually have a working e-mail address or phone number? The link has been dead for several days now with my patience now wearing thin. Thanks in advance!

Possible help

So, I took a chance and replied to the auto e-mail sent to me with shipping info. Looks like it was read, so now hoping for a resolution to my problem.

Any online vender who does not respond to emails for information or problems, I shy away from. Yes, I understand they get hundreds of emails or more, and a lot of spam, but if that is the way you choose to do business, which they have from their FAQ, they need to step up and follow through. Makes you wonder if this is really a one person shop or just hanging on right now? That is a bad image to give to customers.

They are not the only ones who lack customer service as you have experienced.

I had considered purchasing one for a 238 and one for a 938, until I found the dimensions. On the old website they were hidden even more than this site. I took some thin cardboard and made a mockup of the actual size of each holster. I decided they were way too big for my taste, sitting on my belt.

I bought from them and they were great.
Took the time to make sure my choice was right.
I only did it by email, but that is my preference, so I didn't look for a number.

Well, I've tried the Sneaky Pete holster as well, and found them quite unsatisfactory; they simply don't fit they way they advertise them to. I bought one for my my M&P and found that among other issues, they are much thinner than advertised and thus could not hold the M&P. I swapped over to a similar style, by another brand https://www.pdaholsters.com/ Zero issues with them all-around. But of course YMMV.

So yesterday, a real person did respond to my e-mail and was as helpful as could be. So on their site for each holster, there are inside dimensions. For the P238, there is an option for with or without the extended mag from Sig. add's 3/8" to the OAL. The given dimension was for a snug fit, so after measuring my P238, I assumed the one I would receive would still be a sig fit with adding say, 1/2. This new measurement was not given, but their site does state that all holsters are made to be a snug fit. So, the one I received was more than 1 1/2" larger in both directions. It does fit my S&W M&P 9 Shield very comfortably, but it would have looked like I would have an iPad mini hanging off my belt. So I did give this a lot of thought and made my choice with the information that was offered. So, after taking a closer look at the original holster offered, I determined it would be 1/2" too short and may not be able to properly close the lid, so they did have one 5 3/4 x 4 3/8 x 1 1/8. the original advertised holster was 5" X 4 1/8" X 1". The holster I received that fit my Shield was 6 3/4" X 5 3/8" X 1 1/4". All inside dimensions. Actual measurements of my P238 is 4" including the rear site, and adding 3/8 for the pinky extension. OAL is 5 1/2" with thickness at about 1". I guess well see......... This all transpired before noon local time for me. I was given a return number and was told I was responsible for shipping both directions. $13.00 with tracking. I was not pleased with that, and shared with her that when asked what I thought about my Sneaky Pete holster, this whole goat rope is what I'm going to remember. Item was mailed shortly after. Last night, at 9:30, I received an email offering a $6.00 discount if I would include this secret code with the package. About 8 hours too late. So I do not like the fact that it is impossible to make any contact with them unless you already placed an order and they initiate the e-mail to you first. So the holster I received did appear to be well made, but i'm not real sure I'll ever order from them again........

In the future, you might consider Ebay or Amazon, where communications are less of a hassle. Yes, it is still email but you are assured of getting replies and results if there are problems. The prices are better and security are often better as well. MidwayUSA is another source that in my experience, has good customer service and communications.

I agree and buy stuff all the time on eBay and Amazon. I live in a remote area with any special shopping at 100 miles in any direction. I originally thought ordering this was a no brainer, and I had no reason to make contact with them until the problem came up.
