What are some reasons that you love your SIG? My first gun was a Springfield 1911 Ultra Compact 9mm. The only downside to the gun is it's somewhat low capacity, at 8 rounds. My P228 will hold 13-15 rounds in a gun that isn't much larger. That's one of the reasons I love it. Other reasons are it's history as being used as a service weapon (not my specific gun, the P228 in general) and it's unquestionable reliability. |

SIG quality and reliability is the biggest reason. None of mine have ever had any issues at all. No one that I know personally that own them have ever had any issues at all. Many that never owned one claim that the weight of a SIG is a big reason that they don't buy one but in my experience if you have a quality holster and belt the weight is not an issue. Mosquitos are a bit picky on the ammo but other than that I think SIG's will fire most anything that you feed them! |

I love and carry my SIG 1911 C3 because of it's design, the 4.25" barrel makes it easier to shoot accuratly than a shorter lenght and the sorter grip frame makes it easier to conceal (when I want to) than a full size 1911 I love and carry my P238 because of it's size and I love the look and design of it, the bi-tone frame and slide, with rosewood grips (I added) makes it look like a smaller version of my C3 and they are both very reliable which is awesome |

I have 3 sigs an old nonrail P229, a P226 and a P220. I take these bulls to the range regularly and only the 229 has jammed. The springs are worn and she will be going back to SIG soon for a go over. At the range I usually put 75-100 rounds through each and with exception of the 229, I have never had a prob. The 229 is the easiest carry gun of all of them and out of any holster I own she draws very fast. The P226 and the P220 allow for faster follow up shots than polymer guns because they have some weight to them. In a bad situation there is only one gun I want on my side back or shoulder and that"s a SIG!!!

I love SIG's because of their reliability, accuracy, and ergonomics. I have owned SIG's since the late eighties and have never had issues with my center fire pistols. The accuracy out of the box is outstanding. I own other brand pistols, but overall, the SIG's feel best in my hand.

Yup… love my wife too, aside from being beautiful, she tolerates me bring home new shining expensive toys very well. My cars… well their just badass. |

Because, as with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Sig is a quality, top teir weapon. I've yet to have one issue with any of mine.

Sigs are just plain sexy to look at and hold. Fits perfect, looks perfect. I can't speak for reliability - as I only get to shoot about 150 rds every 6 weeks or so - but their track record is impeccable. On top of all that, I love to see Sigs in movies and video games, and know that I actually own something that so many people pretend to or wish to. |

Hard to say really, but I like them enough to have traded two superbly accurate Kimber 1911s for my P220. Ergonomics is probably the main reason I like them because I haven' t had any guns that weren't reliable. I probably shoot 1911s better but I think that has a great deal to do with the long SA trigger pull on the Sigs, something I intend to solve with my next gun which will have the SRT trigger system. Surprisingly the first shoot DA with either of my SIGs is just as accurate as any first shot with a 1911, usually right where I want the bullet to go, it is the SA which gives me problems.

When you hold a Sig in your hand, you feel the quality of the weapon and you know precisely what is going to happen when you pull the trigger. Just a great pistol and rifle also.

Ergonomically the classic Sigs work with my hands. Now, after shooting them for some years, others just don't feel right. That's not to say I won't look at or buy others, there are many good platforms out there. I am just saying that for instant familiarity, I often look for what Sig has in the line up first.

I have to say... Reliability I have over 4,000 rounds in my 226 and never had a single fire or ejection problem Furthermore, my brother's Glock was jammed with a round in the chamber. We removed it, inspected it and noticed it had a dent... I loaded the round manually thru the ejection port on my 226 and fired the round with no problem. SigSauer To Hell and Back |
