I have not seen this gun yet, but it is a sig 2340 .40 s&w, with a .357 sig barrel (supposedly never used) and a sig laser that attaches to the rail. Plus original box and all paper. I think these guns also came with two one-piece grips, but that was not mentioned. He is asking $575 for all. The extra barrel and laser are worth probably in excess of $300, so it seems like a good deal. Anyone have any experience with these guns?

Don't have any personal experience with the SP2340 but the first pistol I ever shot was a SP2022 in 9mm and I was pretty accurate with it, considered the fact that I was a first timer. The SP2340 is the predecessor of the SP2022 in .40/.357 with a propriety rail and a rounded trigger guard. The french army or police ordered 250.000 of SP models and acording to SIG there are some US Army units that using them as well. I can see a SP joining the stable in the future. IMHO it's the best bang for the buck if you're looking for a DA/SA polymer gun.

I bought a used 2340 in 40 cal. It didn't shoot worth a ****. I suspect the barrel was worn. I ended up replacing it with a new 357SIG. It was all the gun needed. It shoots like a laser beam now. Dead accurate.
Two people have seen it and decided to go the same route. Hopefully your 40 barrel is good to go. However, if the 40 sucks that new 357 barrel is going to be your best friend. Get it now and enjoy the heck out of it. I sure have.

The Sig Pro series, P2009, P2022, and P2340 barrels should all interchange. Be advised in the majority of cases they will drop in, but in some cases minor fitting may be needed. Normally it's fitting the hood of the barrel into the slides ejection port, for barrel lock-up.
As far as .357 Sig barrels, Sig has them: https://www.sigsauer.com/store/parts/barrels.html
