night sights or factory dot the i

Hi everyone,

I am new to Sig talk but, not to Sigs. I recently purchased a P226 navy and it have the dot the eye sights....I have put 400 rounds threw it and can hold a 3 inch group at 7 to 10 yards...It is kinda hard to get adjusted too aiming in the middle of the front sight....should I put more rounds down range or upgrade to siglites???
My next question is once I'm familiar with the dot the I sights will I loose accuracy using the traditional way?.....thanks a bunch...

All my sights get changed to the three dot nightsights. It's just what I do.

I did not like the dot the eye sights, so I changed them with Meprolights, who make the SigLites... I don't think you lose accuracy just because you change the sights. For me, I shoot better with the three dot sights.

I dunno, they are Sigs version of night sites.... They install them in the Sig custom shop...I have a friend that has them on a 229 and he loves them...
