P227 Equinox Pics

OK. Because everyone wanted to see pics of it, I didn't wait until I cleaned it of the factory dirt. I wiped it down and took some photos with my obsolete, digital point-and-shoot camera.

Hard to get proper exposure of a pistol with such contrasting surfaces. I need to start saving for a pro digital SLR camera system. To get one with the same or better capabilities as my old 35mm SLR will be equivalent to a collection of Sigs.

I like that it doesn't have the bare stainless on the top of the slide (a little too much "bling" for me). I never purchased another Equinox because of that plus the wood grips on the others. I knew I would be removing the wood grips on any other Equinox because I've had to replace the rosewood grips on my Stainless Elites. They were just too thick near the magazine release for my thumb to press the button. I like the ergo grips here. I couldn't resist.

Can't wait to go to the range!

Very nice! Now that you have 2 of the 227's, you can loosen that grip on the BO now.

If you save up for a Digital SLR, you might wind up with ANOTHER Sig!

LOL! You want to buy the B.O.? Slightly used. Really dependable. Comes with 10 14-round double-stack mags!

I had really good lenses with my SLRs. I got a digital that can use all my lenses and they are double the power with a digital
My problem is I lost all my discipline and just point and shoot now. Sometimes I really feel bad about that. I still just shoot.

Good looking Equinox. I always liked them.

Thank you! I had very little resistance to buyinhlg this one.

It was a limited run from their custom shop. Probably to see what interest it generate.
I bought from Reed's Outdoors (aka Northern Firearms on Gunbroker). They keep running one or two at a time. Got a decent sized shipment I guess. I paid a liitle too much via the Buy Now button but I wanted to make sure I got one.

GoneBallistic, I just purchased a P227 Equinox as well. Did you happen to just get it from Gunbroker? I was bidding with a guy on two different ones.

Beautiful pistol, congratulations and good luck with it.

The one thing I dislike about my Equinox is that it is extremely difficult to photgraph.

You did very well.

I got it off GunBroker but picked mine up from my LGS last Friday. Pics of mine are above.

Thanks!

I can't tell you how many pics I took wigh my cheap digital point-and-shoot before I got these. I had to find a window with a lot of indirect natural light and still had to play with camera settings.
