Hey guys/gals.

Just jumped into the handgun arena recently after getting a brand new Sig P320 Full 9mm and the P226 Enhanced Elite 9mm. I was into guns a little growing up and now had the opportunity and the means to get back in.

Anyway, I have on order a pair of #8's X-ray sights (made by sig) however they are backordered. Any other suggestions that are comparable or wait for them to come in?

Hosting a shooting event this weekend with pistols and trap shooting, cant wait!

Thanks everyone for the links. I found them on B&H Photo for $119, problem is they are backordered:(. I can wait though.

Out of curiosity, any other red dot type sights available for these pistols yet ( I think the Romeo1's are not out yet correct?)

Welcome to Sig Talk, from the southwest corner of Indiana. As far as availability of red dots, I'm not sure of your meaning, but I know the RX models are out, as members have been displaying them. As far as being offered independently Sigs website shows "Coming soon". As far as other models, being interchangeable I believe the answer is "No". Some, such as the Burris Fast Fire, have a dovetail mount, that fits the Sig P226 (And "should" fit any "Classic" Sig rear dovetail). For mounting directly to the slide, the slide would have to be milled for a specific sight, from the information I have gleaned from many posts, these past few months.

I don't know if this answered your question or not, as it was asked...

I just ordered and rec a set of the #8's (Square) from Optics Planet earlier this month. Replaced my dead sig lights on my SP2022.
I applied a $12 coupon to the $129.99 price and got them with free shipping and no tax out the door for $117.99

If you open an account they will start emailing you coupons.
I rec the sights within a week of my order.

One other thought I ran across. I was looking at other Sigs (obviously) and had ran across the X5 320 as well as the RX. I didn't realize the X5 came Romeo1 compatible from the factory! So another option is to buy the X5, test it out and in the meantime, wait for Sig to start shipping Romeo1's again.

Any thoughts?

Also, if the time comes and I want to trade up my barely used P320F in 9mm, what might it be worth on the used market?

Thanks guys,
Brandon

After buying a Legion and most of my other handguns wearing Trijicon HDs, I wouldn't rush to replace the X-Rays with Trijicons but if I was putting new sights on a handgun it would be the Trijicons not the X-Rays. They are a little taller which depending on your holster may not wear as well against your body, but they acquire quicker, and are easier to target shoot accurately with(could just be my bad eyes, damn you genetics). I will say that my X-Ray sights on my Legion are WAY brighter as far as the tritium vials are concerned. The Trijicons aren't the brightest tritium, but I haven't owned any long enough that they have visibly dimmed.
