I like my Sigs, but still have a lotta love for the Beretta too. My favorite Beretta is my 92 compact INOX. Just a nice gun. My unicorn as some may say is the Billenium. Finding one is hard. Finding one at a reasonable price, near impossible.

I love Berettas and gotta say that PX4 Storm is one of my favorite 2 or 3 pistols to shoot. When I bring newbies out they almost always like that one the best. The APX has my attention as well but I don't see changing my EDC from a Sig any time in the foreseeable.

The Langdon PX4 Compact Carry is another one I'm interested in. I think the ARX was a dog though.

I wouldn't say a "Snob", so much, as an owner, yes, for a few years, only because initially I wanted to see what the Army was getting itself into. It was basically a 92FS with Trijicon sights from the distributor. I kept it until I retired from the military, and got a 96 FS a little later to take advantage of the .40 S&W ammunition I accumulated while a cop, for practice. It's strictly a range toy, as I'm not as "agile" as I used to be, and after watching a video several years ago about convicts instructing their younger generation on how to disarm a cop, I've quit carrying one for SD.

I have the same exact pistol. Out of the box probably one of the finest shooting pistols I own. I always said for a stock pistol it's so smooth it feels like it's been reworked. I know I paid less then $600. Brand new. Hard to beat this gun. But Sig is still my favorite...

From the moment I was trained on the M9 I fell in love with it. It was the only gun I ever wanted to own, and I had made my mind up that once I got the opportunity to buy my own the M9 is what I was going to get. Then I got my hands on a Sig Sauer P226. My first was a used gun I paid $499 + tax for in 1999, and my love affair with Beretta waned while I fell deeply in love with the P226. Since that time I've gone on to own a number of other P226s in 9mm and .40, along with the vaunted P229, P220 and P245. After all that time, with all these guns (and numerous others I love) my favorite is the P226, and I must admit I am partial to the old German guns without rails. There is just something about the way those guns feel, shoot, perform that set them apart from all the others to me. I love the MK25 and the Legion P226 as well, but my heart belongs to the original German made P226. I can't say I'm a Sig Snob b/c I carry a Glock, but I do understand the Signess obsession.

Had to dig it out of the safe, better late than never... the tritiums I had installed by a defunct manufacturer (PT?) out "west" have all but died, original rear sight that was installed when the front insert installed, died shortly thereafter. Ended up getting a "Novak" tritium replacement rather that trying to squeeze anything out of a bankrupt company... 15 years ago.

I've owned a Beretta 92SB Compact, a 92FS, an 85F (I think), a PX4 Compact, and now a PX4. Presently own a Sig SP2022, and two P938s.

They're all great guns.

If not Sig, I would go the CZ/Dan Wesson route.
I do like a nice Beretta 92F though.

Here are my beauties;

And to give you an idea of just how close in size a PX4 Storm Compact , P229c and P320 Carry are;

I have a love for both. Own 5 beretta's and 6 sig's, both have their unique qualities abt them and both are fantastic shooters. With so many nice firearms to choose from it would be a waste to just own or be loyal to just one brand. Diversity allows u to appreciate each manufacturer . . .
