Got my first Sig

I grew up with hunting rifles and shotguns. I had to sell them all in college and I went 30 years without shooting at all. A couple of years ago I had a chance to shoot an AR and and AK and surprisingly I was still pretty good. I had so much fun that I ended up buying a nice gas piston action AR, an Eotech optic, and a good Zeiss scope. Turns out that with a rifle and targets I'm still pretty good and it quickly became boring.

At the gun club I joined they have a very active Bullseye range/club and I wandered over there and chatted with some of the members. They convinced me that no matter what type of pistol shooting I ended up pursuing I should learn the one handed bullseye first. They said this is because when shooting with just one hand, every small error is magnified. Too much thumb pressure, trigger finger in the wrong place, etc. They even gave me a map that shows you what you are doing wrong depending on where your shots are relative to the bullseye.

Last summer I ended up buying a S&W M41 target 22 and I now have about 3000 rounds down range. I'm getting much better, and at 25 yards with the M41 I can get 9 out of 10 in a 5" circle.

Now to the Sig

I have been wanting to step up to a 9mm so I can learn trigger control and shoot something larger with accuracy. I went to a local gun store A couple of months ago to window shop and they had both that X6 PPC and an X5 L1. I went back last week to consider those two and sadly they were both sold. The dealer did have both new versions of the P210 Legend, the regular and the target model. I've looked at them online and I was't chomping at the bit to get one. But then I held it and I fell in love. Uncharacterisyically I bought it on the spot.

Since then I've been to the range twice and I have 200 rounds through it. It's sweet to shoot, but it's the only 9mm I've ever shot so what do I know.

Here are some pics.

That pistol is a beauty. I'm also happy that you're back into the shooting sports!

Thanks and you are right about this not being the first one. I still want an X5 or X6. The dealer has an X5 tactical with a threaded barrel which is calling me. It's hard to decide
