| Delayed P220R gratification...
My "experienced" P220 was feeling lonely, so we were doing what single Sigs do and surfing the web, we found a perfect companion, a P220R only used by a little old grandmother to defend her Bingo winnings. The deal was struck... and I got the long-awaited email from FedEx that the companion was delivered to my LGS. Scampered down (it is about a half-hour away) and presented my email noting the delivery time, and found out it had not been checked into the LGS yet..the only two people who could check in weapons were both gone for the day... <sigh> Took my range bag which had some other toys in it - for I was planning to introduce the P220R to some of its armorymates and motored home.... So, we try again tomorrow.... |

Remember the Heinz ketchup commercials. . . Anticipation? Makes it that much better when you do get it! |

And what do you care what others might (foolishly) think? YOU have a SIG coming!

Well, the P220R was picked up today, and shot flawlessly. Side by side with the Glock 21, I was FAR more accurate, placing all my shots in the red at a staggering 5 yards. But it is a start. I have sadly resigned myself to becoming a Sigonista...if they didn't work so well, and weren't so comfortable in my hand, I could go back to happily slumming with my mongrel collection of Glocks. <sigh>.... Fortunately, my LGS doesn't have a Sig franchise. Unfortunately, I spoke to the owner, and he is rethinking trying to get Sigs in. Me and my big mouth. Meanwhile, some exceptionally crude photos. |

I own a G21 & they're also our duty guns, so I have "a few" rounds through them. I find that I consistantly shoot my 220 better, though. Enjoy. |

Thanks, all...I have found that while the Glocks work fine...no issue with them, the Sigs just simply drop the rounds where I point them. The Sigs are simpl yeasier for me to shoot accurately. I could seriously get serious about Sigs... |
