Looks normal to me. I use a thin film of Mil-Com TW-25b on the barrel surfaces to keep them lubed. Each pistol wears with its own personality. Some are indicative of the round count others are not.

Yep normal. That can come from racking the slide a few times.

I agree with all the above. All normal wear until all parts 'sit' and work together. Want I do, to help it along is "buff" the spots lightly. |

Thank you all for your help. I just got back from the range and put 100 rounds through it with out a single hickup. I am very pleased and it is becoming a favorite of mine!

The shiny spots are where it's telling you to put lube.

If look. Close at theslide function as the slide goes forward. The barrle breech rises putting the barrel into a bind removing all play. That is one of he reasons sigs are so accurate hope that might help a bit Hammer7 (jim) |

| Locking/contact points
Those are normal. No matter how much lube u use the Barrell has 5 locking points or surfaces. 1 and 2 are the top and bottom of the front of the barrel, 3 and 4. front and rear of the hood, and the locking lug on the bottom. Naturally where the barrel and slide contact the slide has wear points. The barrel is locked with the slide only breifly before unlocking as the slide moves rearward to eject spent case and load a new round. |

I would be more worried if it did not show that as you want nice tight lockup. If you lightly grease those areas the wear will be kept to a minimum. |
