P938 ammo recommendation

Off to the range with a new P938 Extreme. Is there an official recommendation on a preferred round? My plans are to put 500 rounds of FMJ through it before trying self defense rounds.

advice from P938 owners please.

whatever you can get at the most reasonable price that doesnt have feed issues. so far I have had good luck with Cabela's Herters brass (it was on sale for 9.99 per 50 a few days ago) and Fiocchi shooting dynamics 115 gr for around 11.00 per 50. I have shot probably 1,000 rounds between the 2 brands and haven't had the 1st problem with the 2 brands in my mk25.

overall, mine seems to like 124 grain over 115. presumably the heavier round raises pressure, and racks the slide back harder, and the return has the energy to feed the rounds better

P938 ammo recommendation

As VetteGuy said, mine runs better with 124 grain. I like Speer Lawman Cleanfire, no smoke, better for my lungs. Ammo to Go has some good prices with 500 rounds.

i've never tried anything but the 115 gr stuff because it's worked and is usually a few $ cheaper than the 124. I will have to pick up some 124 and see if I can tell a difference.
