P250 exchange kit question

Hello, new here and new to Sigs. I picked up a P250 compact in 45 the other day. I did not get it because of the ability to change calibers and sizes, but now that I have it I might be interested.

I am a DA revolver guy at heart and have fallen in love with the trigger. The 45 was to be a range toy, now I am wondering if a subcompact 9mm might be a good carry option for me.

I know next to nothing on how the exchange kits work. It is possible to get a kit to change the compact 45 to a subcompact 9mm? If so how much and where do I get one.

Thanks

like paxmo said, the integral part is the firing mechanism. that's why the serial number is on that and windows are cut in the frames. going from .45 to 9mm, you will need the frame slide.. pretty much everything. that's where the xchange kits come in. they should be around 250 bucks

You can get caliber exchange kits directly from SIG Sauer, or topgunsupply.com, or on Gunbroker.com.
