This is a discussion on Sig P226 equinox 9mm within the SIG Sauer Pistols forums, part of the SIG Sauer Forum category; I don't think it was a custom job, since I have the same gun. I'm also trying to find out more info on it....

I was under the same impression that the Equinox only came in 40 cal, but stumbled into a gun shop this morning with the intention to get the p226 Scorpion as I wanted a 9mm and liked the idea of the short trigger reset...yet as I was handling the Scorpion what do I see in the case but a P226 Equinox in a 9mm. It took me about 30 seconds before I was filling out the paperwork...couldn't be more surprised to find this gem, can't wait to shoot it!

Sad to read this. The 9mm Equinox is high on my wish list and didn't know it was rare.
