| Sig P226 equinox 9mm
Ok so I just put my order in for one of the P226 equinox 9mm (E26R-9-EQ) can someone here tell me how rare these are if at all? The site say that Sig made about 250-300 of them (thought they were making 40 cal slides and were actually making 9mm slides... I'll post photos when she arrives any help is appreciated and thank you in advance...

^ that's the thing the 9mm isn't listed on the sig website just the 40 s&w... Called sig sauer and they were no help...

Directly from the Sig website... No mention of a 9mm The Equinox® is the balance between day and night. The P226® Equinox is a .40 S&W designed by SIG SAUER® Custom Shop master gunsmiths. It features a two-tone accented Nitron® stainless steel slide with a lightweight black hard-anodized alloy frame. The contrast in color is achieved by the brush polished flats of the slide and nickel accents. The combination of the TRUGLO® Tritium Fiber Optic front sight and the rear SIGLITE® night sight provides excellent target acquisition, whether shooting day or night. To further enhance the low-light use, the Equinox comes equipped with an accessory rail. To complete the package, the Equinox comes with gray laminated wood grips with a perfect blend of checkering and stippling to enhance not only the form but the function. |

I have one. Never saw a 226 Equinox in 9mm before I found this one online. Haven't seen one since. btw, I absolutely love it!!!!

Just got one last week. Fabulous gun. Here is what I was told. Sig made a mistake - they were running the 226 40 cal line and someone messed up and made 9mm racks. Instead of trashing them, they made this gun (9mm) a limited run. I heard some where between 145 and 200 made. That is why it is not showing up on their website. Not sure if they will make anymore 9mm in the 226 in the future but right now, they are rare because of the limited production. Love this gun!!!!!!!! |

Found more but this is the cheapest I can find - if you get if for the starting price. This is one is on gun broker. LIMITED PROD Sig Sauer P226 9mm Equinox 226 NIB : Semi Auto Pistols at GunBroker.com There are others but they must be getting harder to find - the price is going up. Here is one of them. Damn! The only reason I didn't get the Equinox was that it was only 40 cal!!! Damn things look sick! If they mass produce a 9 version I'll be pickin one up!  |
