Just took it out to limber it up a bit. After about 5 shots I remember to "cover" the target rather than level sights with only the target top half showing above the sight pic(which I used with my 92FS). So I shoot a bit low, maybe 2 bits low!!!. Not used to shooting 15 yards, normally 7-10. So, the question is: for good shooters of the 239, what kind of grouping can you do?
I stay within 7-10 yards. But it would be nice to see how my groupings are in 10-15 yards just for fun. I shot my wife's MK25 at 50 yards (man size silhoutte) once and I was 50/50. 😂
Well, wife and I went target shooting the day before Thanksgiving and tried 15 yards with my P239 .40.
1st group - 80% inside 8" target (7 rounds).
2nd group - 90%.
3rd group - 100%. The pattern was like shotgun but all inside.
Just tried my buddy’s P239 in .357 Sig. 5 shots offhand, all touching each other at 15 yards. I was impressed with the accuracy and finally convinced me to convert my P229 .40 to .357 Sig.
All my Sigs are very accurate. My P220s are freakishly accurate. The least accurate Sig in my hands ironically is my P226. I think because it’s so low recoil, I tend to loosen my grip. I’ve always been more accurate with the harder recoiling calibers.
