Is this wear normal?

This seems to be getting worse, but I am not sure. Is this normal wear on the slide/frame of my Sig P226?

I keep the thing properly lubricated and do a thorough cleaning after every trip to the range. Sorry if some of the pictures are ****. Maybe someone has some insight.

Thanks!

There is a Sticky that shows how wear looks along the way.
I have never owned a CPO. As I understand it, Sig paints the rails, and then it wears off.
Any CPO guys looking can you inform me on that.

I did not know it had 3k rounds and a cpo. A smith needs to look at it and see if it's paint flaking off or a ding is gouging it,or possibly wear. Also ref back to Florks answer on another post with pics. He shows what "normal" wear is. Not much more advise with just pics.

This Sig has some problems with the finish. It appears the anodizing (possibly "paint" if it's a CPO) is flaking off or getting struck by something and chipping off. I also noticed in the fourth picture that it appears the slide had some wicked wear and then was painted over. The rails are not very consistent, and would be cause for concern in combination with the chipping. I would send it back to SIG and have them repair it properly.
