New to pistols and have a couple of questions. At a gun show I purchased from a dealer a p226. This is a Texas edition with wooden grips and a star
engraved in the grip. Some sites say the wooden handle means its and elite, but the gun doesnot seen to have the pronounced beaver tall and being new to guns I cant tell if it has an SRT trigger. Does any one know if this is an elite or can I find out someway by using the seriel number. Thaks for your help
yes it is in a hard plastic case havnt taken any pictures but will tomorrow evening. Also P226R 9 nitron, slite DA/SA Texas and E26R-9-TX are on the case.
I have googled it and no where does any site mention it being an elite. as I asked previously is the only main difference the trigger and non adjustable sites. Thanks again for your help
