| SP2022 Internal or External Extractor
Jus wondering what other people prefer, internal or external extractors on their sp2022's? I purchased mine from Academy Sporting Goods here in Lafayette, La. 2 months ago. I have the 40 S&W with an internal extractor. Why doe some come with internal and others with external extractors?  |

one was german made, one in exeter. some folks like an external extractor & other folks have no issues with the internal. |

I prefer the external extractor but don't think I would necessarily have a problem with an internal.

I have the internal extractor, and I think both perform equally well.

I have read that there is no real difference in performance between the two. I have a 2022 in .40 with an internal extractor and it shoots flawlessly. If anything I prefer the cleaner look of an internal. |

Does Internal or External tell where the slide is made? I have a 40 and it has an internal, mfg Oct 2012 |

Normally the external comes from exeter NH and the internal from Germany if I am not mistaken.
