P938, 7Rd Mag Issue

I was fortunate enough to secure a couple extra 7rd mags for my new P938. In process of loading them using an UpLULA loader, I'm only able to get 6 rounds in one of them -- the others all take 7 rounds, but one will only take 6 rounds. I've measured & compared that one mag against the others and it appears to be exactly the same, but can't get it to take that 7th round. Anyone else have a similar issue? Thx.

i did have that problem with one and the issue was the mag spring. if you can search on the internet (not sure if on here, youtube, etc.) but i remember having that same issue and the spring was binding up. took out the spring and reinstalled it and it solved the issue. the problem with these mags as i am sure you have already noticed is you can't remove the baseplate as the majority of the mags out there let you do to remove the spring/clean the mag, so you have to remove the follower to get the spring out. hope this helps

You have defective mags. They should be discarded appropriately. PM me for the disposal address.

I ordered a 7 round from TopGunSupply same issue no matter what could not cram the 7th round in when the one that came with the gun was easy. Sent it back and they sent me a replacement which was fine.

Have you taken the mags apart and compared the springs? Could be the incorrect spring used and extra coil(s) could create this condition, also. Easy enough to fix, just clip off the extra.

Once I figured out how to disassemble the mag, I did so and reinstalled the spring & follower and now it takes the full 7 rounds. Next test is to see if it works properly at the range. Thanks to all for suggestions.
