The color is interesting - would match my Cerakote FDE two-tone P226.

Makes me want to get another rifle. For the life of me I can't figure out why (my 556 has never let me down), but I still do.

Interesting color choice. I'd definitely send it off to CCR to have it converted back to black. Cera-Hide, house black!

I always use armorhyde technologies. www.armorhyde.com. This one is already coated like this when I got it. Its going back black im thinking but still on the fence if I want it all black or if I want to leave certain things FDE.

Picked it up last night and went to the range this morning. I love this gun!!! Might switch out the rear BUIS. Im not a big diopter style sight person. Gun was very accurate! Shot from 7 yards to 500 yards and I couldnt be happier with it! Still undecided on color.

If you decide to remove that diopter you can probably sell it for good money on Gunbroker to help pay for its replacement.

just found out this was the special edition 556 that the original owner swapped stocks on so he could keep the magpul one for his 556 R.

This is the one rifle I am interested in buying right now. How do you like the gun overall, without regard to the finish?
