I would love to know who to contact at sig to get spare expendables for my 716, please share if you can!

don't remember seeing much on the 516 or 716, maybe a few on the 716, but mine has been flawless, dead on, no ftf, so not sure what those problems were, and maybe a bad run of some part.

but I read lots and lots about the mpx/mcx, don't even know what it is, but lots of complaints.
DD,

I understand that. If people would stay on topic about their firearm and the specific complaint rather than making blanket statements, they would not be called out to provide facts.

I've contacted Sig for the carrier assembly recall, they said they are sending the box for transportation. When I send the piece off does it need to go through my FFL? I forgot to ask over the phone can't bother calling back lol thanks

Since it's a repair they're allowed to send it to you directly.

No, most likely they will send you a FedEx label. You can not, however, drop the package off at a FedEx Office, it has to be dropped off at a FedEx hub.

They will return the repair directly to you when done.

I heard you have to be there to sign for the empty box. Going to have to schedule off of work if that's true ?

I called customer service this morning. Wrote a post on it in another thread to the model gun but will recap here since it applies.

Was calling about FTE / stove pipe issues Ive been having with my new 224. Told them I'm getting 1-2 horziontal stove pipes per 50 rounds as well as getting hit w 1-2 rounds per 12 round mag.

I was told that this fell into acceptable limits for FTE failures. Because of the second issue they agreed to check the extractor and spring though. Gotta say I got pretty worked-up over them thinking that is acceptable. Also was told it would be about a 6 week turnaround which was disappointing.

Dont know if this will add additional time or not but after I choose to add some upgrades to it while its there. So hopefully everything gets fully fixed

This might sound like a stupid question but I received a shipping label via email for my return. I "thought" the customer service rep said though that they were sending me a box to send it in with. Thinking bout it now Im wondering if I misunderstood and I should just get my own box and put the label on it. Can someone please clarify if they send out a box or if Im good to just get my own?

They send the label - getting the box is on you.

Thanks. Not a problem, just a misunderstanding of what he said then.

Well I just had Another Example Of Super Great Customer Service From Sig Sauer.
Remember when I posted about My Mess Up when I ordered the extra mags during Sigs 25% off sale. I had thought I purchased a P229 Equinox back on Nov 20 when I actually purchased a P226 Equinox. So when I ordered the extra mags I ordered mags for a P229.
Did Not notice My Mistakes until the Supposed 30 return grace period was almost up.
The Invoice stated the 30 Return period but the Sig Site on returns did not mention a time limit. When I called Sig Customer Service and explained My problem, The C S Rep said No problem, just return the mags and We will swap them out. That's what I did and true to His words He did exactly that. I returned the mags on Dec 13 and Sig got them on Dec 22.
That's Christmas time. Sig then shipped the Exchanged mags back to Me on Dec 29 and I received them Jan 6.

Just got an email w tracking number that my 224 is on its way home. I havent heard anything else so not sure yet what they may have done to it for a fix. My bank account has been deducted so Im assuming the upgrade work at least has been done. Tracking estimates a monday delivery but by its location I dont see why it wouldnt be delivered tomorrow. Trying to decided if I should take off for Monday or not? Do they really check id and make sure the signer is 21? My daughter is 19 and home.
