Well I'm starting to get my M400 dressed up now. Should be receiving my B.A.D. lever today. I was gonna go Magpul to keep everything on it Magpul but was reading reviews on it and ppl said they had issues with fitting it on the M400. I found another manufacturer called Tactical Link and the reviews from their products sounded promising and I could order it in FDE to match the rest of the furniture on the gun! I'll be installing it tonight after I get off work. I'd be interested to hear from any of you guys if you've had any experiences with this company and any other additions that would be good for the M400
Well I wont get to shoot it for another few weeks after I put it on. But I will be testing it out and doing a function test after the install to make sure its secure and doesn't interfere with anything. I'll be updating this post as I go and add more things to it as well!
I have just over a month until I'll be home. I'm looking forward to your updates. I'll let you know what I decide to add to mine when the time comes. I'm going to put about 1000 rounds through it before I add any internals. I have to replace the carry handle on mine because Sig decided to ship me a gun that looked nothing as advertised except for the handguards. With that said, I also have to get rid of the A2 pistol grip they shipped it with.
I have an M400 as well and bought a B.A.D device for mine. It will not clear the housing for the ambi mag catch. I thought about heating it and bending it to clear, but I imagine it is a MIM part or a cast part. I am afraid it will just snap off rather than bend how I want it to. I installed a Wilson Combat over sized bolt release instead and it works great. Direct replacement part, not just a bolt on paddle. Please post some pics if you get yours to work.
Spring piston pellet rifles can ruin even some top quality rifle scopes designed for centerfire ammunition because they will pound the scope like a jackhammer, both forward and backwards at virtually the same instant.
But this "true strength" model is holding up very well and has a pretty clear & bright picture to boot!
I wouldn't be surprised if yours holds up for a long time to come.
That is SWEET! you will find that the small additions can be purchased without breaking the bank. You probably already know that though. My MOE Vertical grip was about $12 and my sling was about the same and the QD button was $8. The scope was $110.00. BTW why are you replacing the flash suppessor? Just courious.
Oh and the pic rails were about $12 and the flashlight was $130. Not bad for 1100.00 gun! I have shot the heck out of this gun and have not had one issue with it. I do want one thing....and it will hurt my wallet....at silencer.
I dont know if you can tell very well on the pic. I found a small dual rail system that mounts directly on the barrel. Its made by Pro Mag and it eas about 23 bucks after tax. Just clamps on with 2 allen bolts and is pretty good for mounting lights and lasers.
That is cool! I mounted my light right above my grip so that all I got to do is turn it on with my thumb. I like what you did and now you have made me want that too!!! it doesn't end bro. lol
not bad, that is where I got my gun. Many folks are Sig haters I have found and brand specific on what should be used and what should not. I don't follow the crowd and it's what works for you is what counts. I have a surefire reflex scope that works great for up close and personal if you know what I mean. Also selling a Eotech x3 mag that I will never use b/c can't get it to match up with my BSA aimpoint. Brand new from a friend that owed me $$.
I usually stay away from Pro mag magazines but it seems like their accessories tend to be a bit more functional! I have big dreams for this weapon. Just hope my pocketbook can meet the demand!
