MCX Carriage Assembly Returned

It's in the mail!

The box for the MCX recall arrived today via USPS. No signature required. I boxed it up and carried it to the Post Office. The website says 5-7 days turnaround. Now I wait. So far all's well with the program with no delays. Am I dreaming?

I registered two MCX recently. Got one return box in the mail yesterday. Not sure which one its for. Not going to ship it back until I see how others are making out. Both MCX have Geissele triggers in them.

I just got a box today, after calling them the day after the recall notice was posted. Only problem is I thought I was told that I needed to send the whole rifle in because I have a Gen 1, with both 300BO and 223 barrels. The box I got today is only big enough for the carrier group. I guess I'll be calling them in the morning.

I rec'd my return box yesterday. Packed up the BCG and it's heading back today.

Was originally to send entire rifle back, but I put the original trigger group back in (had an SSA). Am somewhat tempted to keep the rifle when it returns, but could easily see trading it in for a shotgun.

Either way, now the waiting game commences.

I used my USPS receipt to track the package to see if it's been delivered to SIG. USPS tendered it to FedEx Returns Agent, and now can't receive any tracking info. If anyone knows of a way to cross-reference this, please let me know.

Put the USPS number into google. Choose the 'Track via FedEx' and it will give you some tracking info.

Mine isn't due to arrive until January 25 after dropping it off on January 10. I had to call them and they started an inquiry before it started moving along. I think they just dropped the ball and my package got put on the back burner. It's in transit now. Hopefully, the turnaround at SIG will be quick.

That worked. Tnx! I took it to the Post Office on 1/11 and it's due to arrive at SIG on 1/26. Sure seems slow to me! It took 9 days just to get to the FedEx facility! I'm guessing with a fast SIG turnaround (claimed 5-7 days) plus normal FedEx shipping back, this process will have taken a month, plus the time it took to receive the shipping box. But we'll get a $50 gift card and a decal.

When you guys get them back will you please try them with the Geissele trigger to see if it works? I'm waiting on sending mine back... I mean it works fine how it is. But if it works w/ the trigger I'll send it back!

I just hope it continues to work with the Wilson Combat TTU. I see no reason why it shouldn't.
