We're waiting on SIG's 9" 300Blk kit (April 7 '16 pre-order), and our SRD762TI-QD's ATF stamp (also filed April 7 '16). Also, this rifle's shipping out to Exeter, NH Monday for her bolt carriage & trigger change...

Cheers
So is that the carbine or rifle hand guard? I got mine in....its supposed to be rifle length...but its the same as the one that came on my 16" 223 mcx??

Right, this is their 12" handguard, SIG calls rifle length. Ordered in October '16 and think I remember their options were 8", 10" & 12"...

Cheers

Ahh so the 16" 556 mcx has a "rifle length" hand guard on it already? It should still allow a can to tuck on a 9" 300blk barrel...I was just thought it would have been longer.

Interesting. I was wondering why things seemed a little off. Im really hoping I chose the right length from Lancer. I bought the 18" CF guard. 9" barrel + 8" can, + 5/8x24 adapter (1/2"-1"?). Ideally, with an inch or less sticking out of the guard. It will likely be less than an inch. Hopefully it wont turtle-head, and be just short of the guard.

Go big or go home

I did confirm with Lancer that if it was too long, I could send it back. But Id really be frustrated to wait 14 weeks to find out. I also found out that I will have the first one made. So that's kind of cool. Not that things like that are a concern. But its kinda cool.

28 weeks becasue you will have to wait for the replacement lol I went through the same thing building my 11.5" build. I had a slr hand guard that I wanted to go as close as possible to the SiCo ASR mount. The hand guard is not big enough for a can to tuck. I didnt know until it was all assembled that I had a couple MM of clearance so I was perfect. Could have easily been the other way. Good luck.

Glad I saw this post... I called and changed my order from carbine length to rifle length since I want it the same length as my stock 16" MCX.

Yeah, that will be close!! I wanted ~4" or so of can in front of the rifle's handguard to keep my paw well away from the muzzle. Suggest a sturdy hand stop to keep ya safe there...

Cheers

What is your plan handguard wise when the 9" bbl is in? Always shoot suppressed? Asking because I too have the 9" bbl on order and trying to decide.

How do you order these Suppressor hand guards? I looked on the store site... no mention of this accessory at all.

Did you call Sig CS to order or am I missing something here?

Many Thanks

Yeah, these aren't on SIG's web store. Ya have to call as there's usually a wait. SIG will do a pre-order which doesn't charge $s to your card until it actually ships.

Cheers
