Question BCM Gunfighter Model A44 / Sig 516

Anyone used the A44 charging handle from BCM in a 516? I'm getting ready to order one... But I don't want to have issues with it the way others have with the Ranier Arms/AXTS Raptor.

Thanks!

Apparently user 'Raeuber' has no issues w/ BCM

He posted that in this thread, take a look-see at his post (#21)!

Thanks for the response. I searched before asking, and although he is using a BCM charging handle it's not the specific model I'm wanting to use. He has the Mod 4. I'm asking about the Model "A44" it's basically the same thing, but ambidextrous.

I assume it would fit the same and as the Mod 4, but Many people assumed the Rainier Arms Raptor would fit and some get lucky... Some don't. Everything I've read on that one says it needs about 1/32" of material removed to make it a good fit.. Well, I'm not going to use my upper to reshape a product that should have been right from the manufacturer.

I'm looking for a drop in Ambi solution that is strong and functions as advertised.

Kcco
Idon't have a 516 I've got anM400. I put that BCM A44 in it and it works fine. I also have another M400 with a Badger ambi. charging handle in it. It has larger handles to grasp hold of, good for when wearing gloves.
Hope this helps.

I have 516 with bravo company ambi charger, works well. I find the latches on both sides a little too wide. it is very easy to operate with my right index figer. Its also well built and looks stronger than the factory charging handle of 516.
