Will do! I got lucky... had been planning to order the Sig handguard but got busy and forgot about it until this thread. Glad I don't have to deal with a return (or Sig CS).

I ordered the 10.5" handguard but have an 11.5" barrel... planning to get a 9" 300BLK barrel (when it someday becomes available). Will also cut the 556 barrel down to 10".

Careful, I don't think the 556 barrels GB was in same position either.. I will see if I kept pictures. If you cut from 16" it might cycle suppressed, and have failures to cycle unsuppressed..

Send it to Marvin Pitts at Nafarious Arms, yes he has a long wait, there is a reason he has that long wait.. He is one of if not the best Barrel guy in the industry.

Don't take my word, I have no affiliation with him or Nafarious Arms, Google him.

Ah hell. Didn't even think about that. Dang it. Yeah, I've heard of Nefarious Arms.

Just realized that they used the same picture for all 3 sizes. So don't try to eyeball anything yet. Looks like 3 pics of the shortest version. I might change my order and go with the 18". I just need to figure out what my OAL is going to be with the can on. If I can get enough of a grip that I can unscrew it, I'm in. Want to tuck as much as possible but not have to remove the guard to take the can off.

**think I just talked myself into the 18"

All my cans are QD so unless I want to switch to direct thread I'm stuck having to remove the guard with shorter barrels. I just wanted the lightest shortest guard without clearance concerns. Wasn't intentionally planning on covering much of the can.

I noticed the part number on the 18" is actually the same as the 10.5" guard.

These look great! The weight savings are probably worth the price increase too.
